In recent years games have become more and more involved in the lifestyle of younger generations. It is far too often they are told by their elders about the days they would spend hours outside socialising with friends. Now however many of the younger generation rarely see their peers face to face instead they communicate through online gaming and social media.
Many argue it is what they have grown up with so would they know any different? and is it not down to the adults to encourage their children to go out? On the other hand is it good for the young to stay cooped up in front of a screen all day, devoid of any physical contact with people their own age? Also is it a safe environment for them, everyone and anyone who plays online can hide behind a fake profile so would they be better off outside where they could potentially interact with strangers and face dangers of other kinds?
A solution to this is adults have a certain level of responsibility to their children so it should be down to them to ensure their kids get a balanced healthy lifestyle, and to ensure their safety online is paramount.
